BEE FAMILY OFFICE WAS ORIGINALLY A FAMILY-OWNED BUSINESS THAT HAS DEVELOPED OVER 5 GENERATIONS, MAINLY IN TRADE AND DISTRIBUTION IN FRANCE AND ABROAD.


Our activities and assets are organized around 3 main divisions:
  • Real Estate Retail - Property: this division concentrates most of our operating assets, with stores leased to DIY specialists, shopping centers and business centers as well as our Real Estate services ( Facility management, franchise development, retail network management, ..)
  • Financial asset management
  • Direct majority or minority investment as part of a transfer or development capital operation 
Our belief as entrepreneurs leads us to focus our efforts on the development of European SMEs whose business histories and people are aligned with the challenges of future generations.

A FAMILY HISTORY,
5 GENERATIONS OF ENTREPRENEURS

  • 1887: Foundation of the company
  • 1924: Affiliation to Nouvelles Galeries
  • 1956: Opening of the first MONOPRIX in Maubeuge, and then in 1961, in Montgeron, suburban Paris
  • 1974: First hypermarket in the group under the EUROMARCHE brand
  • 1991: EUROLOISIRS come under our own, BRICOSTORE brand
  • 1980 to 2000: Group with a broad portfolio of Franchise brands, including MAMMOUTH, BUT and MONOPRIX, VYP Communications agency, ERIS Cafeteria etc....
  • 1997BRICOSTORE commences its successful development in Central Europe under the direction of Philippe BRESSON 
  • 1998: Opening of the first of 9 BRICOSTORE stores in Hungary
  • 2002: Opening of the first of 15 Romanian stores
  • 2004: Opening of the first of 3 Croatian stores
  • 2013: Sale of Romanian BRICOSTORE stores to Kingfisher
  • 2014: Transformation of the company– Foundation of Family Office 
  • 2015: Launch of Business Center in Zagreb, Launch of Portal Afc business
  • 2015: Opening of the first shopping centre under the NEXTSTOP brand in Szekesfehervar
  • 2017: Opening of the second Nextstop in Csömör
  • 2019: Direct Private Equity Investments in 2 Capital Development deals in France en France (Mineral Water, Car Leasing)
  • 2020 : 3rd Direct Investment– Premium Brand (Biological Fruit Juice & Cidar)

OUR VISION, OUR VALUES

Our family office is the fruit of a long entrepreneurial tradition, built-up over 5 generations.

We owe what we are today both to the respect of our values and the men and women who have trusted us and allowed our companies to flourish through their work and their professional commitment .

Because we are above all entrepreneurs – and retailers I should add - our desire to get involved, to roll up our sleeves, is still intact.

As such, we are involved shareholders willing to share the destiny of entrepreneurs and managers. This will is based on several cornerstones:
  • That of the customer and of the essential listening and humilitythat this culture of business demands in our everyday life. 
  • Trust in our People: we deeply believe in autonomy and delegation. Empowering our teams is an essential virtue.  
  • Sharing finally because without participation in success it is futile to believe that we can in the long run grow, progress and create value.  

Our world is facing profound changes, some will say that it is experiencing its third industrial revolution.

This environment that is reinvented every day before our eyes offers a wealth of opportunities for the entrepreneurs that we are. 

We must seize them to be the players in these exciting developments, but also to propel our society with all its talents towards these new territories.
